New Student Orientation

UCR offers orientation programs specifically designed for new incoming freshmen and transfer students.

Orientation is critical as you begin your academic career. Students who attend are far more prepared and aware of how to navigate the university. Be sure to attend!

The Dean's Orientation is required of all incoming students and is held prior to the start of classes in the Fall.

Highlander Orientation is designed for freshmen. Students select one of several sessions offered in July/August.

Highlander Orientation for Transfers is offered for transfer students and is held in September.
